This is me and my health journey.
I had a health scare.
Doctor's orders:
- Eat better and move more.
- Get an EKG and blood work.
The EKG came back normal.
What is normal? Is it normal for my body or the average of the world?
Turns out it was stress...but you don't know until you know.

Do I need one?
I did, and was fortunate enough to be working off the farm like many spouses these days.
We had access to my employers' Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
I would have lost the weight faster if I had known about the Nutrifii line of supplements.
No complaints after doing the math.
Even when I was able to lose a half a pound a week...it added up to 25 pounds.

First reason: You know your caloric intake based on servings and ingredients.
The label is a great resource of what is the amount of calories you are getting.
Did you know?
Women need a minimum of 1250 calories.
Men need a minimum of 1650 calories.
Children need a minimum too based on their age and stage of life.
Positive over Negative: I know there is a difference in the ingredients that make up that make up a calorie AND I am choosing the best option for my body at this time.
Progress over Perfection: An apple and a snack bag of potato chips both have 80 calories.
It is more beneficial to eat the apple for your mind, body, and soul.
Action over Excuses: Go out and grab the 'Soul Food'.

Positive over Negative:
I know there is a difference in what I eat at a restaurant AND I am choosing the best option for where I am at this time.
Progress over Perfection: A slice of pizza at a restaurant is 400+ calories. (This is about a third of your calorie budget.)
It is more beneficial to eat one slice cut in two and enjoy a salad before and after the first slice.
